Calveseglio
(561 m) is placed in a central position, among all the other villages.
It's the hamlet where you can find the Town Hall, the schools
(nursery and primary), the Post Office, the surgery, the library,
the gymnasium and a building where almost all the recreational
activities and shows organized by the Pro Loco and other associations
of the territory take place. It's in Passèra at the borders of
the road called "variante Chiarella" that in 1908 they discovered
the "masso avello": a find (IInd c.) of great historical interest,
the object of a future intervention by the Municipal Administration
which wants to insert it in an archaeological-touristic itinerary
that will concern other hamlets as well.
